Columbia Threadneedle hires EMEA client investment solutions head from BlackRock

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has appointed Lorenzo Garcia as head of EMEA client investment solutions from BlackRock, where he spent 12 years.

Based in London, Garcia will report to Jeff Knight, global head of investment solutions and Mark Burgess, deputy global CIO at Columbia Threadneedle. In his new role, he will be responsible for delivering investment solutions to the firm's EMEA clients. At BlackRock, Garcia held a number of roles, most recently head of EMEA institutional and retail portfolio management, ETF and index investments.
