Jupiter launches levered absolute return fund for Clunie

Double the size of holdings in existing AR fund

Jupiter has expanded James Clunie's absolute return range with the launch of a global levered fund that will aim to hold double the size of the holdings in his existing £1.3bn unit trust.

The Jupiter Global Levered Absolute Return fund is a sub-fund of the Jupiter Global Fund SICAV range and will use the holdings of the UK-domiciled £1.3bn Jupiter Absolute Return fund to determine which positions to hold in the new portfolio. However, the new fund will not be a mirror of the existing offering. The fund is only suitable for institutional and professional investors who have an understanding of complex investment strategies which make extensive use of financial derivative instruments.
