Walker Crips transfers corporate bond fund to Smith & Williamson

No longer 'core' part of its activity

Walker Crips has entered into an agreement to transfer its corporate bond fund to Smith & Williamson Investment Management as it no longer represents part of the firm's "core activity".

The financial services group is transferring the fund management contract for its TB Walker Crips Corporate Bond fund to Smith & Williamson, expected to be completed on 21 March. The £19.6m fund, currently managed by Chris Kitchenham, will be renamed TB Riding House Street Fixed Interest fund upon transfer.  In a statement, Walker Crips said: "As part of the company's continued focus on integrated wealth management since the sale of its fund management related activities in 2012, the board of Walker Crips has concluded that management of this fund is no longer a core activity and is...
