Schroders launches value high yield fund

Schroders has launched a high yield bond fund which will use a value investment style to allocate to credit across the globe.

The Schroder Global Credit Value fund will be run by the company's credit team based in London, led by Konstantin Leidman with the support of over 40 analysts around the globe. The company said the value approach will enable the team to identify opportunities in out-of-favour market segments with the aim of providing investors with a high total return. The fund will not be constrained by a benchmark to enable a contrarian approach when investing in the bonds of corporate and financial issuers across developed and emerging markets, alongside convertibles and other securities.
