Architas hires product specialist ahead of MPS launch

Architas has appointed former SEI Investments director Avni Thakrar as a product specialist to support the upcoming launch of its managed portfolio service (MPS).

Thakrar (pictured) previously spent two years as director of asset management solutions at SEI Investments, where she led the development of multi-asset income, liquid alternatives and smart-beta fund ranges. At Architas, she will work with advisers to explain the funds and services offered by the company, with a particular focus on its soon-to-be-launched managed portfolio service. She has also worked as an investment director at Ingenious Investments and an assistant director at Royal Bank of Scotland.
