Brooks Macdonald poaches investment director from Charles Stanley

Will join bespoke portfolio service team

Brooks Macdonald has appointed former Charles Stanley portfolio manager Ben Mackie as an investment director at its Taunton office.

Mackie will join the company's bespoke portfolio service team, where he will manage discretionary portfolios. He will also focus on supporting and growing the company's professional adviser network in the South West of England and Wales. At Charles Stanley, Mackie sat on the investment strategy committee and structured product team. He has also previously held roles at Barclays Wealth and Butterfield Private Bank.
