Columbia Threadneedle appoints ex-Standard Chartered COO as non-exec director

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has appointed Kath Cates, former global chief operating officer for Standard Chartered Bank, as a non-executive director.

Cates (pictured) joined the board of Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings from 10 May and joined the board of Threadneedle Investment Services from 29 March. She is also a non-executive director at wealth manager Brewin Dolphin and at RSA Insurance Group.
