Liontrust hires Charles Stanley's distribution head for sales role

Liontrust has appointed Martin Weisinger, head of distribution for Charles Stanley's fund management arm, Matterley, to work within its discretionary sales team.

Weisinger (pictured) will be based in Liontrust's London office, where he will report to head of discretionary sales Stephen Corbett. Weisinger only joined Charles Stanley last March, after spending 12 years at F&C Asset Management/Thames River Capital, where he worked across the UK wholesale market. His appointment follows the recent hire of Antonio Forte by Liontrust as international sales manager.
