Update: Harries leaves Newton to join Lyon's team at Troy

Nick Clay has taken over as lead manager on the £4.5bn Newton Global Income fund, following the departure of lead manager James Harries for Troy Asset Management.

Harries (pictured) will join Troy in 2016 to help the firm with its existing balanced funds and strengthen its investment team.  Sebastian Lyon, CEO of Troy, said: "Troy has been looking to add to our group of fund managers for some time, with a particular emphasis on global equities. "We are delighted that James has decided to join Troy. We have known James for many years and his investment approach and style is very similar to our own."
