Miton hires ex-JOHCM manager for European fund launch

Miton has hired former JO Hambro Capital Management manager Carlos Moreno to lead a new European equities strategy for the firm.

Moreno joins as European equities fund manager, sitting within the existing investment team, after leaving JOHCM in January this year following the closure of his All Europe fund. Miton plans to launch a European equities strategy by the end of the financial year, in a bid to broaden its fund range and respond to investor demand.  Miton's chairman Ian Dighé said: "This appointment is the next step in our growth strategy based on developing and providing distinct investment strategies for investors.
