Artemis analyst Parkinson joins Aviva Investors

Giles Parkinson, who resigned from Artemis earlier this month, has joined Aviva Investors as a global equities fund manager.

In his new role, Parkinson will report to Chris Murphy, head of global income, equities, and work closely with Richard Saldanha on the £27m Global Equity Income fund, as well as other global equity portfolios. At Artemis, Giles was analyst and fund manager on the £1bn Strategic Assets fund since its launch in 2010. He has 10 years of investment management experience, having also worked as global research analyst for the oil & gas sector at Newton Investment Management.
