Barings promotes Aldridge as Morath exits

Baring Asset Management has promoted Rod Aldridge to head of wholesale distribution for EMEA following the departure of Oliver Morath.

Aldridge (pictured), previously head of UK wholesale distribution, will take over the role after Morath resigned from the firm to pursue another opportunity in the industry. Aldridge will remain based in London, reporting to Angus Woolhouse, global head of distribution. He has 27 years' industry experience, having joined Barings in 2008 from Gartmore Investment Management where he was head of UK retail distribution.
