CBI chairman warns of 'enormous' risks with Scottish Yes vote

Britain's economic recovery will be at risk if Scotland votes for independence next month, the president of Britain's biggest business lobby has warned.

Sir Mike Rake, the head of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), said Scottish secession would endanger the recoveries on both sides of the border, the Telegraph reports. "The questions we've raised have never been about whether Scotland would be able to survive outside the United Kingdom, the issue is whether it would prosper," Sir Mike said at the CBI's annual dinner in Glasgow on Thursday night.
