GAM launches tactical multi-asset fund

GAM has launched a tactical multi-asset fund to be run by its asset allocation team, headed by Graham Wainer.

The fund, GAM Star Tactical Opportunities, will invest across markets and investment styles, aiming to generate an absolute return through thematic, unconstrained asset allocation. The unconstrained fund will invests in direct securities, options, derivatives and currencies, and may hold up to 20% in other collective investment funds. It will use three month Libor as an illustrative benchmark, with a high watermark performance fee charged for returns that are 10% above this index.
