Renaissance AM research head Kollo departs

Renaissance Asset Managers head of quantitative research and risk Michael Kollo has left the company, Investment Week understands.

Kollo (pictured) joined Renaissance in 2012; in addition to his research role he was co-manager of the group's Global Emerging Markets Yield fund alongside CIO Plamen Monovski.

He also specialised in quantitative research for back-testing systematic strategies in emerging markets, with a focus on EMEA and frontier markets.

Kollo previously spent two years as a portfolio manager and research analyst at Fidelity.
