Aegon head of investment marketing Pearson exits

Mark Pearson, head of investment marketing at Aegon UK, is to leave the business this week, Investment Week can reveal.

Pearson, who has been at the group for 14 years, finishes at Aegon UK tomorrow, and is expected to take some time out from the industry. His exit comes after the recent hire of former Skandia marketing chief Nick Dixon, who joined Aegon as investment director in August. Dixon said: "During his 14 years with Aegon, Mark has been a key force in creating the Select [fund solution] range, broader investment choice, and guiding Aegon from a life company towards an investment business.
