Schroders hires BoE analyst as EM economist

Schroders has appointed Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) risk analyst Craig Botham to its global economics team.

Botham, who analysed country risk within the PRA's macroprudential analysis team, will join Schroders this summer as emerging market economist, reporting to chief economist Keith Wade (pictured). Prior to working at the PRA - which operates as part of the Bank of England and forms one branch of the UK's tripartite regulatory system- Botham held a similar role at the Financial Services Authority.
