Prudential shuffles senior investment management team

Prudential has appointed John Foley to the newly created role of group investment director in a bid to strengthen the oversight of its financial investments.

Foley, who is currently group chief risk officer, takes up the new post with immediate effect and will remain on the Prudential Board, reporting to the group chief executive, Tidjane Thiam. Foley, who was appointed chief risk officer in 2010, previously worked at National Australia Bank and Hill Samuel & Co. He will be replaced in his previous post by Pierre-Olivier Bouée, who is currently managing director of the CEO office.
