Nearly five years after the worst of the financial crisis, the global economy still faces huge challenges.
But Fidelity's Jeremy Podger, manager of the Global Special Situations fund, argues international companies are in relatively good shape and stock markets are underpinned by strong corporate cashflows. Looking at Europe, the US, Japan and emerging markets, Podger identifies reasons to be optimistic, as well as causes for concern in the coming months.
