Train reveals one of his sweetest ever investments

Lindsell Train co-founder Nick Train has named Cadbury as one of the greatest ever investments in his top-performing £668m CF Lindsell Train UK Equity fund.

Train - who holds a number of shares in food giant Kraft following the takeover of Cadbury in 2010 - said the confectionery makers' legacy is still being felt in his portfolio now. "Cadbury really is a gift that keeps on giving," he said. "Three of our best performing holdings in March were shares inherited from the investment in that company - namely Dr Pepper Snapple, spun off by Cadbury in 2008, Kraft, and Mondelez." Kraft swooped for the confectionery giant back in 2010, and Mondelez and Kraft subsequently demerged in 2012 to form two companies. Train (pictured) said the stocks...
