Threadneedle's Ring replaces Fleming as head of distribution

Nick Ring has been promoted to head of distribution at Threadneedle after Campbell Fleming took over as CEO at the group.

Ring, who joined Threadneedle five years ago and had been global head of product, will be responsible for leading the group's sales, client service, marketing and product development efforts. The ex-Northern Trust man has overseen the launch of Threadneedle's commodity products and establishment of its absolute return range, as well as heading the group's North American distribution team since mid-2011.
