Ex-Threadneedle chairman joins Intrinsic

Ex-Threadneedle chairman Simon Davies has joined the board of national advisory firm, Intrinsic, as a non-executive director.

Among his duties, Davies will chair the Intrinsic Investment Committee. He worked as chairman of Threadneedle Investments until June, when he retired. He had spent 17 years at the group, having joined as chief investment officer in 1995. He replaces Paul Manduca on the Intrinsic board who has left to take up his new role as chairman of Prudential.
