UK income managers Neil Tong and Kenneth Warnock have left Alliance Trust Investments, Investment Week understands.
The departures come following a move by chief executive Katherine Garrett-Cox (pictured) to restructure the group to focus on global equities and fixed income. Two months ago, in a client update to the market, Alliance Trust announced its intention to close its UK Equity Income, Asia-Pacific Equity and Japan Equity funds, which the group said would lead to a number of redundancies.
