Jupiter has hired Maarten Slendebroek from BlackRock as an executive director, to spearhead the group's distribution strategy as the business gears up for the post RDR-world.
Slendebroek, who was previously head of international retail at BlackRock, joined Jupiter on 3 September, taking a seat on the board. He will be tasked with building out Jupiter's distribution capabilities in the UK and abroad. Slendebroek will report to Edward Bonham Carter (pictured), the group's chief executive.
