Ashcourt Rowan poaches Scrimger from SLI

Ashcourt Rowan has poached Alan Scrimger from Standard Life Investments (SLI) to head the group's research proposition.

Scrimger will join the group's eight man strong research team, reporting to the group's CIO Toni Meadows. At SLI Scrimger helped build the group's Myfolio range in his role as head of funds research alongside Bambos Hambi. The risk-rated range has raised £1.6bn eighteen months on from launch. David Esfandi, managing director of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management, said Scrimger will be tasked with enhancing the group's fund research capabilities to developing a market-leading proposition for clients.
