Weldon exits Premier as part of corporate restructure

Premier Asset Management's sales and marketing head Simon Weldon is leaving the firm at the end of the month.

Weldon (pictured), who joined Premier in November 1997, is exiting the firm as part of a corporate restructure. A widely-known figure in the industry, Weldon has spearheaded a number of new product launches for the boutique and played a pivotal role in the firm becoming privately owned in 2007. Following the restructure, Mike Hammond will head up sales for the multi-asset and private client business, Alan Glendon will take responsibility for sales within the funds business, while Corrine Collier will manage the marketing team.
