The Share Centre ditches T1PS in favour of ex-Unicorn CEO Webb

The Share Centre has ditched T1PS Investment Management's Tom Winnifrith as manager of its two small-cap mandates in favour of former Unicorn founder Peter Webb.

Webb, who resigned from Unicorn in 2008 following a period of poor performance and successful arbitrage activity on the Eaglet investment trust, has been appointed investment adviser through his firm Webb Capital Asset Management. The SF T1PS Smaller Companies Growth and SF T1PS Smaller Companies Gold funds will change their names to Webb Capital Smaller Companies Growth and Webb Capital Smaller Companies Gold on 1 July, subject to FSA approval.
