RLAM poaches Insight's Hussain to head high yield team

Royal London Asset Management has poached Insight's Azhar Hussain to head its Global High Yield team.

Hussain was head of high yield and leveraged loans at Insight, as well as manager of a number of high yield credit strategies, including the high yield component of the Absolute Insight Credit fund. In his new role he will report to Jonathan Platt, RLAM's head of fixed interest. Platt said: "Azhar has considerable experience of European, US and emerging market high yield and his strong analytical skills and investment management experience will complement the existing capabilities of RLAM's wider fixed interest team, enabling us to build out our global high yield capability."
