Standard Life Investments' has became the latest group to launch a global emerging markets equity fund, to be headed up by Alistair Way.
The launch fills an obvious gap in SLI's fund range, and comes after the group converted its managed fund into a global equity income vehicle for Kevin Troup. The new fund will invest in 60-100 stocks, with a focus on companies deriving their revenues from Asia, eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa or Latin America. It will be measured against the IMA Global Emerging Markets sector, and focus on delivering capital growth for investors.
