Pictet unveils Emerging Markets High Dividend fund

Pictet Asset Management is set to launch an emerging markets high dividend offering for Mark Boulton and Stephen Burrows.

The Pictet Emerging Markets High Dividend fund, to launch on 7 June, focuses on emerging market companies offering high and sustainable dividends. It aims to provide returns through dividend income and capital appreciation. Pictet already manages an Emerging Markets High Dividend fund for Japanese investors, launched in 2007, with $3.6bn in assets. "Most investors associate emerging markets with growth rather than income,' said Burrows. "But the situation has changed and you can now also get an attractive level of income from emerging markets."
