Barclays Capital is to launch an onshore version of its Radar fund in February 2012, Investment Week understands.
The Barclays Radar fund will mirror the investment strategy of the group’s Irish-domiciled UCITS fund, which launched in February 2009. It will reflect the highest conviction views of the Barclays Capital Fund Solutions research team. The co-managers of the offshore portfolio, Jason Smith and Ian Mizrahi, will also run the new fund. The onshore Radar fund will seek to provide positive returns in all market conditions, investing across a broad range of asset classes.
