RLAM launches Int Govt Bond fund

Royal London AM has launched an International Government Bond fund for George Henderson.

Henderson, who also manages the £71m RLAM Global Index Linked fund, will focus on non-sterling denominated sovereign debt but will also be able to hold investment grade credit. Sitting in the IMA Global Bonds sector, the fund will target outperformance of 1.05% per annum of its benchmark J. P. Morgan Traded World ex-UK Government Bond Index on a three year basis gross of fees. Up to 10% of the portfolio can be invested in UK bonds and cash instruments. Foreign currency exposure will be hedged back to sterling and duration will typically be plus or minus two years relative to the bench...
