Baillie Gifford reshapes gilt funds

Baillie Gifford is re-naming and changing the objectives of two of its gilt funds.

The group’s Index-Linked Bond will be renamed Active Index-Linked Gilt Plus and will have a higher yield target. Previously, the fund aimed to achieve a total return above the FTSE UK Gilts (Index-Linked) Over Five Years index, but the group has increased this to a total return above the index of 1.5% per annum over rolling three-year periods. The Baillie Gifford Long Gilt is being re-named as the Baillie Gifford Active Long Gilt Plus and has also increased its performance target.
