Friday's Fidelity FundsNetwork investment forum featured presentations from some of the biggest names in fund management. Here we bring you the best bits.

The forum was opened by Fidelity' managing director, UK retail, Gary Shaughnessy, who used the introduction to argue that bundled platform charges might still have a place. He also outlined plans to add ETFs, investment trusts and decumulation products to the FundsNetwork platform. The first speaker, M&G's Richard Woolnough, said that the corporate bond sector looks promising, claiming many governments have a higher probability of defaulting than many corporates.
