Schroders is launching a new platform for Ucits hedge funds, designed to provide easy access for the growing investor appetite in the space.
The Schroder GAIA - Global Alternative Investor Access - will utilise the group's global distribution network and partner NewFinance Capital's knowledge of the hedge fund industry. NewFinance Capital will be responsible for manager selection, screening the industry for potential partners. The platform's first fund will Schroder GAIA Egerton European Equity fund, managed by Egerton Capital Limited Partnership.
