Bank of England veteran Peter Westaway is joining Nomura as chief Europe economist.
Based in London, Westaway will be responsible for running the European economic research team, while he will also assume coverage of UK economic research. As well as working at the Bank of England for 13 years covering macro economic forecasting, policy and financial market analysis - Westaway has also held previous roles at the UK Treasury and National Institute of Economic and Social Research.
