GLG has appointed Nick Judge, formerly managing director of Merrill Lynch's equities division, to its UK asset management team.
Judge will be part of the five strong UK equities operation headed by John White and Jason Mackay. The team is responsible for the $1bn GLG Alpha Select fund and the recently launched GLG UK Select fund which is a UK-version of its Dublin-domiciled long-only UK Select Equity fund. "Nick joins GLG at a time when we see growing opportunities in UK stock markets," says Pierre Lagrange, co-founder of GLG.
