Identifying growth catalysts is the key to maximising returns in the view of Ian McVeigh, manager of the Jupiter UK Growth fund. He believes an unconstrained approach is crucial as valuations are squeezed across the UK market. McVeigh's investment process involves three stages of defining a potential stock's growth, value and recovery, identifying a catalyst for its change and setting a price target.
