Barclays Capital is urging investors seeking long-term growth to move into equities, having seen their single worst decade since the 1930s. Managing director, head of asset allocation Tim Bond, and author of the firm's Equity Gilt Study 2009, says the concept of a 'death of the equity cult' is likely a poor forecast.
