Mark Harris, head of New Star fund of funds, has taken a $8.5m stake in the $79.6m Polar Capital Asia ex Japan fund managed by Emil Wolter. Two thirds of the money has been invested with the New Star Managed Portfolio and one-third with the New Star Asia Portfolio.
