BNY Mellon has added to its asset allocation range with an aggressive portfolio under Phil Collins. Newton Diversified Growth, sitting in the Balanced Managed sector, aims to achieve returns of 3.5% above Libor over rolling three-year periods. It offers near equity returns without equity-like volatility and sits between Iain Stewart's Absolute Intrepid and the Phoenix Multi-Asset offering. Collins can invest up to 75% of the fund in equities or equity related securities. He said the £8.5m fund mirrors the approach of his Multi-Asset offering, except it has no fixed income exposure. ...
