Aegon has almost completed the rationalisation of its fund range down from 23 to 15 products. The investment house closed eight funds on 31 January and will have completed the integration of its Equity Income fund into the Income portfolio by the end of the second quarter. This will give it a product containing equities and bonds that will sit in the IMA cautious managed sector and be run by Philip Milburn. The funds closed are American Smaller Companies, European Smaller Companies, Far East, Japan, Latin America, Socially Responsible Equity, Aegon Cash and the Aegon 100 Index tracking unit...
