Jeremy Thomas has quit as an associate director at Schroder Investment Management to join Royal & Sun-Alliance Investments as a UK equities fund manager. At Royal & SunAlliance, whose brand is best known in the retail investment industry, he will specialise in running money for institutional pension funds. The appointment has increased the size of its UK equity portfolios team to six. The firm, which offers pooled funds in addition to running segregated mandates, has been increasing its resources in the institutional market.
