Multi-manager group T Bailey is looking to launch a UK equity income fund of funds (Fofs) during the first half of 2004. The group aims to run a portfolio of between eight and 12 underlying funds. T Bailey runs two global Fofs, each with about 50% allocation to UK equities. At present, these contain nine UK equity funds, including the £170m Rathbone Income and £1bn Credit Suisse Income funds. The proposed Fof is likely to contain similar funds, although the group aims to include FSA recognised offshore funds as well.
