Investing at the lower end of the investment-grade corporate scale proved a popular strategy among the best-performing funds in the UK corporate bond sector over the three years to December 2002. Over this period, Britannic Corporate Bond was one of the best performing funds in the sector, returning 26.92%, compared to the sector average of 22.3%.
