group puts berry in driving seat as it launches first sub-fund of its dublin-managed fund oeic

Close Finsbury's fund of funds (Fofs) offering, run by Berry Asset Management, has holdings in hedge funds and structured products, as well as conventional bonds, equities and cash. MultiAsset Portfolio, the first sub-fund of the Dublin-domiciled Close Finsbury Managed Fund Oeic, was launched last week with a global portfolio but containing a strong sterling weighting. The fund, led by Mark Robinson, investment director at Berry, has an asset allocation split of 36% in UK equity portfolios, 10% in the US, 6% in Europe and 5% in Japan equity funds.
