JOHCM has promoted James Lowen to co-manager on Clive Beagles' UK Equity Income portfolio. Lowen took over the fund last September when Beagles took a six-month sabbatical, returning in April. During turbulent market conditions, he restructured 30% of the portfolio, reducing financial and consumer cyclical exposure and increasing weightings in telecom and healthcare stocks.
