Schroders, Europe's third largest pension fund manager, has installed Michael Dobson, the former head of Deutsche Bank's fund business, as chief executive after his predecessor was let go amid poor performance. Chairman Peter Sedgwick has been looking for a CEO since dismissing David Salisbury in August after customers defected and first-half profit plunged 68%. Sedgwick was in talks with Dobson for more than a month.
