New Star has completed merging the former Edinburgh funds into its existing range, reducing its overall offering by seven to 39. The £22m New Star European fund is to roll into the £283m Star European Growth portfolio, managed by Richard Pease. Pease has been running both vehicles. The £18.5m New Star Safety First and £29m New Star UK Equity funds are to merge into Stephen Whittaker's £208m New Star Growth fund.
