MFS Investment Management is merging its three non-US fund families, which will see its three Oeics move to Luxembourg and expand the Sicav range to 28 portfolios. In addition to the Oeics, the firm offers 20 Cayman Islands mutual funds plus 14 vehicles already available within the Sicav. MFS is seeking UK distributor status for the offshore funds and, subject to regulatory approval, the merger should be complete by mid-September.
